Devin Neal
Devin Neal Positioned as lead RB again
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:41 PM
Neal (abdomen) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers while Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Analysis: Neal will lead New Orleans' backfield in Kamara's stead for a third consecutive game. He practiced in full Friday after having kicked off Week 15 with back-to-back limited sessions. In his last two appearances combined, Neal racked up 153 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 37 touches. He'll work to make the most of his opportunities again during Sunday's home divisional matchup.
Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara Ruled out for third straight game
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:13 PM
Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Carolina.
Analysis: Devin Neal topped a 70 percent snap share in both of the past two weeks while filling in for Kamara. The rookie should get a similar workload this Sunday, with Audric Estime and Evan Hull in reserve.
Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara Not practicing Friday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:07 PM
Kamara (knee/ankle) isn't practicing Friday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Kamara hasn't practiced since suffering an MCL sprain in Week 12. Devin Neal (abdomen) likely will fill in as the Saints' starting RB again this Sunday against the Panthers, after topping a 70 percent snap share in both of the past two games.

Devin Neal Stays limited in practice
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:29 PM
Neal (abdomen) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Neal has filled in for the absent Alvin Kamara (knee) the last two games, racking up 37 touches for 153 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD during that stretch. The former is operating with practice restrictions this week due to an abdominal injury, while the latter still hasn't practiced since he sustained a sprained MCL in Week 12. If Neal avoids a designation upon the Saints posting their final Week 15 practice report Friday, he likely will remain the team's top option at the position Sunday against the Panthers.
Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara No practice again Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:25 PM
Kamara (knee/ankle) officially didn't practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Kamara hasn't practiced since he suffered a sprained MCL in Week 12 and now is in danger of missing a third game in a row Sunday versus the Panthers. No. 2 RB Devin Neal (abdomen) remained limited at Thursday's session, meaning Evan Hull and Audric Estime currently are the two healthy options at the position on the Saints' active roster.
Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara Not spotted at practice
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 2:52 PM
Kamara (knee/ankle) wasn't seen at Thursday's practice, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Analysis: Considering he has yet to practice since he sustained a sprained MCL in Week 12, Kamara appears to be trending toward a third consecutive absence Sunday against the Panthers. Fellow RB Devin Neal (abdomen) was limited at Wednesday's session, so the statuses of the Saints' top two options at the position are up in the air ahead of Week 15 action.
Devin Neal
Devin Neal Tending to abdominal issue
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 3:45 PM
Neal was limited at Wednesday's practice due to an abdominal injury.
Analysis: Neal has filled in for Alvin Kamara the last two games as the latter tends to a sprained MCL, with the former tallying 153 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 37 touches. While Kamara remained sidelined at practice to kick off Week 15 prep, Neal is dealing with a health concern of his own, which leaves Evan Hull and Audric Estime as the currently healthy RBs on the Saints' active roster.
Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara Still not practicing
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 3:39 PM
Kamara (knee/ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Analysis: Kamara has yet to practice since he suffered a sprained MCL in Week 12 against the Falcons, leaving his status cloudy ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers. Meanwhile, fellow RB Devin Neal (abdomen) was limited to begin Week 15 prep, which means Evan Hull and Audric Estime currently are the healthy backfield options on the Saints' active roster.
Evan Hull
Evan Hull Records two touches in Tampa Bay
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 10:07 PM
Hull notched one carry for four yards and reeled in his only target for six yards during Sunday's 24-20 victory against the Buccaneers.
Analysis: With Alvin Kamara out for the second game in a row, Hull once again saw the field in the Saints' injury-riddled running-back room. This week, Devin Neal took on a bigger role as the RB1 with 19 carries, and fellow backup Audric Estime saw more run with three carries compared to zero in the previous game. Hull has now accumulated seven rushing attempts in four career games across his first three seasons. Even if the Saints are hit with more injuries at running back, it's unlikely that Hull will be their first choice to help fill the void. Fantasy owners should expect much out of him during the Week 15 contest versus Carolina.
Foster Moreau
Foster Moreau Catches one pass Week 14
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 9:59 PM
Moreau caught his only target for 16 yards during Sunday's 24-20 win versus the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Moreau split snaps with TE1 Juwan Johnson, but he played an ancillary role once again, as he was one of four Saints receivers who logged between one to two targets behind top pass-catchers Devaughn Vele (five), Chris Olave (five) and Johnson (four). His opportunities were even more limited than usual, with quarterback Tyler Shough logging a season-low 20 passing attempts. Barring injuries to one of New Orleans' top receivers, Moreau still won't have any fantasy relevance moving forward. The team will next play Week 15 against Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 14.
Mason Tipton
Mason Tipton Sees zero targets in win
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 9:49 PM
Tipton totaled zero targets during Sunday's 24-20 victory over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Tipton has moved into the WR3 role since the Saints let go Brandin Cooks three weeks ago. The 25-year-old logged exactly three catches on four targets in each of the previous two games, but he did not show up on the stat sheet versus Tampa Bay other than a 54-yard return on the opening kickoff. Quarterback Tyler Shough fell well below his average number of passing attempts with just 20 in Week 14. However, Tipton's playing time also took a hit, falling to 45 percent of the offensive snaps after playing 70-plus in each of the previous two contests. Tipton's limited role shouldn't warrant much, if any, attention from fantasy owners. New Orleans will next play versus the Panthers in Week 15.
Taysom Hill
Taysom Hill Logs two carries Week 14
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 9:30 PM
Hill recorded two rushing attempts for minus-1 yard, and he failed to haul in either of his two targets during Sunday's 24-20 win against the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Hill tallied two touches for the second week in a row. The 35-year-old played a season-high 41 percent of the offensive snaps, but he's been largely irrelevant since his 2025 debut in Week 5. Over nine games, Hill is now averaging 0.4 receptions and 3.9 rushing attempts while totaling 10.8 yards per game. His low volume and inefficiency should continue to make Hill a non-factor for fantasy owners. New Orleans will next play Week 15 versus Carolina on Sunday, Dec. 14.
Devaughn Vele
Devaughn Vele Leads NOLA wideouts vs. Tampa Bay
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 7:49 PM
Vele caught three passes (on five targets) for 40 yards during the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: There wasn't many targets to go around Sunday as Tyler Shough completed just 13 of 20 passes for 144 yards, but Vele led all Saints pass catchers with 40 receiving yards and finished tied with Chris Olave for the second-most receptions behind Juwan Johnson (four). Vele has been more involved in the Saints' offense in the three games since the Week 11 bye, producing a 14-170-1 line (on 20 targets) over that span. Up next for Vele and the Saints is a Week 15 home tilt against the Panthers.
Juwan Johnson
Juwan Johnson Modest yards on four catches
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 6:07 PM
Johnson secured all four targets for 38 yards in the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: The veteran tight end finished with modest production yardage-wise, but he did produce a team-high reception total. Johnson also finished second in receiving yards on a low-volume day for the air attack, but he now has at least four catches in six of the last seven contests going into a Week 15 home matchup against the Panthers next Sunday.
Tyler Shough
Tyler Shough Two rushing scores in upset win
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 5:52 PM
Shough completed 13 of 20 passes for 144 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding seven rushes for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: Shough took three sacks and generated the third sub-200-yard tally through the air of his six-game starting tenure, but the rookie signal-caller shined with his work on the ground. Shough recorded the first two rushing scores of his career on 34- and 13-yard runs, the latter play coming with 8:26 remaining in the game and snapping a 17-17 tie. Shough also established a new career high in rushing yardage in the upset victory, and his penchant for keeping the Saints competitive most weeks affords him a reasonably optimistic outlook for a Week 15 home divisional clash against the Panthers.
Devin Neal
Devin Neal Impressive as lead back in win
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 5:37 PM
Neal rushed 19 times for 70 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for 14 yards in the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: Neal drew another start in place of Alvin Kamara (knee) and surprisingly found some running room against a normally stingy Buccaneers front. The rookie sixth-round pick set a new career high in rushing yardage and added a three-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter for his first career score. With the 3-10 Saints firmly in evaluation mode as head coach Kellen Moore's first season at the helm winds down, Neal could continue to see expanded opportunity irrespective of Kamara's availability down the stretch.
Chris Olave
Chris Olave Three catches in win
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 5:32 PM
Olave brought in three of five targets for 30 yards in the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: Olave played through a back issue for the second straight week and put together a modest performance by his lofty standards, although Devaughn Vele was the Saints' leader in receiving yards with just 10 more than Olave. The fourth-year wideout's yardage tally was his second lowest of the season, but Olave managed to keep his season-long streak of no less than three catches in any game alive. Olave next takes aim at the Panthers secondary in a Week 15 home clash next Sunday.
Chris Olave
Chris Olave Playing through back issue Sunday
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 10:40 AM
Olave (back) is active for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
Analysis: For the second week in a row, Olave took a questionable tag into game day, but he'll once again be able to play though the back issue after turning in limited practices Thursday and Friday. Olave didn't appear to be operating with any restrictions during last week's loss to the Dolphins, finishing with four catches for 47 yards on seven targets while notching his fifth touchdown catch of the season.
Chris Olave
Chris Olave Likely to play through injury again
Sat, Dec 6, 2025, 9:29 PM
Olave, who is officially questionable to play Sunday versus Tampa Bay due to a lingering back issue, is expected to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Olave also dealt with the back issue last week, but he was able to play and log a 4-47-1 receiving line against Miami on Sunday. The veteran wideout posted a DNP/LP/LP practice progression this week, and that appears to be enough for him to take the field again this Sunday against the Buccaneers. Despite New Orleans' inconsistent quarterback play throughout the campaign, Olave has tied a career-high mark with five receiving TDs while posting a solid 781 yards on 73 catches through 12 games.
Kevin Austin
Kevin Austin Elevated to active roster
Sat, Dec 6, 2025, 3:06 PM
The Saints elevated Austin from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.
Analysis: Austin will be elevated for the third straight week and should continue to serve as a depth receiver and special teamer. This is the final time this season that New Orleans can elevate the 25-year-old, and the team will need to sign him to the active roster in order for Austin to appear in another game.
